By Rachel Singh | BACP Accredited Therapist | Autism Specialist

As an autism specialist and integrative therapist with over two decades of experience, I am passionate about empowering individuals and organisations to understand and support neurodivergent minds. From consultancy in schools and charities to workplace wellbeing initiatives and therapeutic mindfulness programmes, my Autism-Specific Consultancy offers a deeply informed and personalised approach.

💼 Who I Work With

Whether you’re a school looking to better support autistic pupils, a business striving to create a neuroinclusive environment, or a health organisation aiming to upskill your team—my freelance consultancy service is designed to meet your needs. I also provide tailored support for neurodivergent individuals (including ADHD and autism) through one-to-one coaching and counselling.

Services include:

– Therapeutic coaching for individuals

– Workplace wellbeing consultancy

– Autism and ADHD awareness training

– 8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) programmes

– Bespoke support for staff or student wellbeing

– Reflective supervision for professionals working in neurodiversity

🧩 Why Choose Autism-Specific Consultancy?

With a career rooted in both therapeutic work and autism strategy, I bring more than just qualifications—I bring lived insight, clinical understanding, and relational depth.

A recent endorsement from a headteacher sums up my approach beautifully:

“Your ability to connect with students was evident from the very beginning… your empathetic nature had a tangible impact… pupils consistently mentioned feeling listened to and supported… you’ve been a tremendous asset to the school.”

🧘 Mindfulness for Autistic Minds

My 8-week mindfulness programme is designed specifically with neurodivergent needs in mind. By combining evidence-based mindfulness practice with therapeutic grounding, these courses foster emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and improve overall wellbeing. I run four of these programmes per year for both individuals and organisations.

🧠 About Me

Hello, I’m Rachel Singh, a BACP-accredited therapist based in Brighton. My journey began in 1996, working with individuals on the autism spectrum in both community and strategic roles. Since qualifying in 2015, I’ve combined this rich background with humanistic integrative counselling, offering flexible, client-centred therapy.

I specialise in supporting teenagers and adults with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), especially those diagnosed later in life or navigating complex emotional challenges like anxiety, low self-esteem, and suicidal thoughts. My approach integrates elements from DBT, mindfulness, and psychoeducation—always tailored to the unique strengths and struggles of each person I support.

👥 Ready to Collaborate?

I offer flexible packages for schools, businesses, and non-profit organisations. Whether you need short-term support or ongoing consultancy, I’d love to help you develop compassionate, neuroinclusive environments where everyone can thrive.
