Supervision
My approach is relational, collaborative and grounded in curiosity. Rather than assuming there is a “right” way to practise, I work alongside you to explore what is happening in the therapeutic relationship, your clinical thinking, and your own responses. Together we can make sense of complexity while remaining compassionate towards both ourselves and our clients.
For therapists working with neurodivergent clients, supervision provides an opportunity to deepen neurodiversity-affirming practice, reflect on relational dynamics, consider sensory, communication and processing differences, and move away from deficit-based models towards approaches that recognise and build upon individual strengths.
My supervision is informed by over 25 years of working alongside autistic individuals and their families, alongside my work as an accredited psychotherapist and behaviour specialist. I integrate person-centred values with trauma-informed practice, mindfulness, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) principles and current neurodiversity-affirming approaches, always adapting supervision to the individual practitioner rather than expecting practitioners to fit a single model.
