What I Offer
My practice is based on providing integrative, relational counselling to young people and adults through one-to-one therapy sessions. I am a BACP-accredited therapist, offering both face-to-face sessions from consulting rooms in Hove and online therapy to clients across the UK.
I work with a range of presenting issues, with particular expertise in supporting those who have been diagnosed with autism and other neurodivergent conditions. My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, trauma informed integrating evidence-based therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s individual needs.
Alongside my therapy practice, I am a certified mindfulness teacher and facilitate an eight-week, in-person mindfulness programme, supporting participants to develop practical skills for managing stress, emotional wellbeing, and everyday challenges.
I work with a broad range of clients, including those navigating:
- Autism spectrum conditions including Asperger’s
- ADHD and OCD
- Attachment-related challenges and anxieties
- Childhood trauma and bereavement
- Eating disorders and depression
- Cultural, gender, and sexuality-related issues
Empathetic and compassionate, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s needs and goals. For neurodivergent clients, I pay particular attention to sensory needs, social communication, and imaginative processing, offering tools and insights to help them understand themselves more deeply. This process often leads to greater self-acceptance, stronger identity, and meaningful lifestyle changes.
My priority is to create a safe, open, clear way and containing therapeutic space for all my clients, where exploration of the self can unfold. Ultimately, I aim to support them in cultivating a greater depth of self-awareness, a stronger sense of self, and a more meaningful, fulfilling life.
1:1 Therapy
I provide therapy for young people (aged 12+) and adults, bringing nearly 30 years of experience supporting autistic and ADHD individuals across education, community, voluntary, public, and private healthcare settings, alongside both lived and professional experience of neurodiversity.
As an MBACP-accredited Humanistic Integrative Counsellor, certified Mindfulness Teacher, and qualified Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) therapist, I offer neurodiversity-, gender-, sex-, and diversity-affirming, trauma-informed therapy, integrating approaches including Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, and mindfulness to meet each person’s unique needs.
My practice is further enriched by ongoing professional development, including Foundation training in Group Analysis, and I offer both short- and long-term relational therapy grounded in compassion, collaboration, and respect for each individual’s strengths and experiences.
“I saw Rachel for about 1 year in total, after a serious road traffic accident that changed my life completely. Which also coincided with the loss of my Mother. I was taken by her ability to empathise , as there has been a massive change in my life. Rachel was friendly and thoroughly professional. Her approach made me feel totally at ease , speaking of absolutely anything and everything. She helped me a great deal, especially helping me come to terms with all I had lost, including physical problems I am now left with. I would recommend Rachel to anyone thinking of getting help. My time spent with Rachel was definitely worthwhile.”
Supervision
Supervision with me offers a collaborative, reflective, and supportive space where you can deepen your clinical practice while feeling genuinely understood. My approach is relational, neurodiversity-affirmative, and grounded in curiosity, helping you explore both your clients’ processes and your own professional development without judgement. Together, we will build on your strengths, enhance your confidence, and ensure your work remains ethical, authentic, and sustainable.

I offer flexible corporate and community mindfulness workshops ranging from 1–2 hours to half-day sessions, tailored to support neurodiverse employees, strengthen workplace communication, promote wellbeing, and provide psychoeducation for individuals with ADHD or autism, those awaiting diagnosis, and family members or carers.
Each workshop combines evidence-informed mindfulness practices, discussion, psychoeducation, practical handouts, and gentle mindful movement to enhance self-awareness, emotional regulation, resilience, communication, and compassionate relationships, while creating psychologically safe and inclusive environments.
Neurodiversity-specific workshops are adapted to individual needs through structured mindfulness, sensory anchor points, shortened meditation practices, and an understanding of the window of tolerance, ensuring participants leave with practical tools they can confidently apply in everyday life.
